Andy Dawson

 

Andy DawsonA highly motivated Director with experience of successfully shaping and delivering business and cultural change within FTSE 100 retail and financial services organisations. 

 

As the Chief Operations Officer for Legal & General Insurance, Andy was responsible for Operations, IT and Business Change, and was a Board Director.  He led numerous  cultural and business change programmes across the organisation, as well as aligning the IT and Business Change function, with company strategy. Prior to that Andy was the Marketing Manager for Marks and Spencer Financial Services, where he led the business into a variety of new general insurance markets and developed their insurance strategy.


Andy is extremely energetic and thrives on building strong relationships with people on both a professional and personal level.

 

James Farrow

 

James has more than ten years experience in successfully shaping and delivering business, cultural and IT change within blue chip retail and financial services organisations in both the UK and internationally. James has worked for some of the largest Retailers and Retail Bank companies in the UK, Europe and Asia.


Experienced in a wide range of methodologies and frameworks for all levels of change projects and programmes, he has:
 

  • Defined and delivered major cultural change throughout Legal & General Insurance, which was recognised at the 2007 IFS Innovations Awards;
  • Delivered global projects for Tesco Stores in the Asian Business Region, covering South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan and Malaysia;
  • Been accountable for the full Business Change function at Legal & General Insurance;
  • Delivered CRM data-warehousing capability for Marks & Spencer Money. The project was also recognised with an industry award.


A incredibly energetic person, James is passionate about helping others to learn and grow from their invaluable experiences.


 

Adam Farrow

 

Adam FarrowAn experienced IS Project and Programme Manager with a proven track record of success in delivering complex projects on time and to budget within the retail, financial services and media market sectors. Adam specialises in large, complex IS and business change projects involving multiple internal and third party teams.


Responsible for all aspects of complex project management activities and experienced in a range of project methodologies, including Prince 2, Adam has successfully:
 

  • Managed the development and delivery of Boots.com, which included integrating web technologies into legacy systems;
  • Programme-managed the delivery of Sony Playstation Network across 21 European countries for the launch of the flagship product, Playstation 3;
  • Delivered £1.4m Financial Services Internet Programme on time & budget, exceeding benefit expectations;
  • Initiated Project Management Review Groups to develop clients core Project Management capabilities to enable them to apply a consistent approach to managing projects and senior stakeholders.

 

Adam continually strives to find new challenges; his ability to build strong relationships and lead people at all levels, along with his enthusiasm and focus on delivery enables him to adapt to different environments to help companies achieve successful change.

 
 

Tony Tarquini


For over 20 years, Tony has been a business leader in IT and business performance consulting within the financial services sector.  He has worked as Client Director on business change and IT projects with many of the most successful organisations in financial services. Much of this is based on pioneering but practical ideas to improve business processes and organisational efficiency and effectiveness. He has introduced a number of award winning IT solutions into the UK market and worked with a leading broker to develop a major e-trading network. 


Tony has led successful bid teams in multi million pound projects with blue chip institutions. He has managed these engagements to deliver tangible results in clients’ business performance, He has built a business practice, helped turn around loss making businesses, conceived and introduced new products and services and re-engineered sales and marketing operations.

Most recently, Tony has helped financial services organisations to realise significant performance improvement by applying major change methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to their businesses.

Tony has been an industry speaker for many years and has written a regular column for one of the industry’s main publications.
